One of the privileges I have of being Director of Camp Smile is to hear from alumni, parents, campers and counselors about their experiences at camp. To hear them sing camp songs, tell about playing games, describe going on field trips and learn to be themselves in a new environment is always something I relish. Camp Smile challenges and supports at the same time. Our campers and counselors experience what it means to become lifelong friends with someone you might never have met unless you were at Camp Smile. The day to day camp experience gives all the support they need to have, to grow and cherish all that is “camp”.
